Distillations (formerly Piccolos) is a series of small-scale works that explore reduction, rhythm, and form. Created as an intuitive and iterative process, these studies distill visual experiences into their essential geometric elements, allowing ideas to emerge through repetition, variation, and quiet observation. Distillations function as a foundation for larger works, where initial explorations of form, rhythm, and colour evolve into more developed compositions across my practice. These works serve as the origin point for larger compositions.
