‘Colour of Sound’ is a solo exhibition of works by abstract artist Allison Rietta, showcasing 28 original artworks. Her abstract paintings and collages explore mystic geometry, symbols and patterns, working predominately in watercolours and acrylics. Her work is informed by her graphic design background, and her spiritual practice of sound and meditation. Drawing on the sacred sounds, Rietta’s art exudes melodic vibrations in which colours transcend the visual into the auditory.
‘Colour of Sound’ will be located at the Cultural Goods Gallery at 1444 Dupont Street, Unit 15 in Toronto, Canada. Cultural Goods Gallery, is a cultural hub, exhibit space, and creative event area located in the Junction Triangle community opened by Kim Newport-Mimran and Joe Mimran.
