The Piccolo collection by artist Allison Rietta is inspired by old floor mosaics found on her recent travels to a volcanic island in the south of Italy. Initially created as a series of studies to inform her larger works, Rietta has created over 89 compositions in watercolour, acrylic, paper collage and gold leaf.
